Sergei Kurkin, PhD, EPA
Head of IP
Sergei Kurkin joined Cellistic in 2023 and serves as a Head of IP, managing all the IP matters of Cellistic and Ncardia. Dr. Kurkin brings more than 15 years experience in life sciences IP, transactions and licensing, having worked as an inside patent counsel at several pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, in particular in the fields of drug discovery, CRISPR technology, gene silencing, biotechnology, antibody therapeutics, bioinformatics and AI/ML.
He has a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Amsterdam, an MSc degree in chemistry, an engineering qualification in computer science and is a qualified European Patent Attorney.
