About Us:

Join a dynamic HR team in an international business with over 140 employees
across Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, and the USA. We are a pioneering
group of Biotechs specializing in iPSC (Induced pluripotent stem cells) and we are
looking for a skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager.

Job Summary:
You will oversee the payroll management for employees in Belgium and in the
Netherlands, the USA and Germany, ensuring compliance with local regulations and
company policies.

You will develop and implement the company's compensation and benefits policies
aligned with the company strategy and with market trends.
This role requires extensive experience in payroll systems, strong organizational
skills, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for employees in Belgium, the Netherlands, US and Germany.
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to maintain data accuracy and address employee inquiries.
  • Support audits and reporting related to compensation structures and payroll compliance.
  • Implement and optimize payroll systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement the company’s total compensation strategy (fixed salary, variable pay, bonuses, incentives, etc.).
  • Manage and optimize employee benefits programs (health insurance, pension plans, disability coverage, etc.).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in an international environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations in Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Strong analytical, financial acumen, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems; Excel proficiency is essential.
  • Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
